Do you want to learn Linux but you have one machine with windows 10. So, here is the solution.

You can install a Linux distribution within your windows OS. There is no need to dual-boot.

So, you need to follow some steps.

  1. First, download the Ubuntu disk image(ISO file).

Click the green button. Then another window appears like below and The Ubuntu ISO should begin downloading immediately.

    1. we have to create a virtual machine.

    You have to go to this link. Virtual Machine

    Click Windows host.


    Then right-click on the downloaded file (.exe file) Click run as Administrator.


    Then, simply install it by clicking next....install.

    Click install.

    Then click the new button.

    Type a name for your virtual machine whatever you like.

    Type: Linux

    Version: Ubuntu (64-bit)

    3.Install ubuntu.

    Double click your virtual machine's name.

    Then click the folder shape icon and click the add button then select your previous downloaded ubuntu .exe file.

    put a tick and click continue.

    Click install now.

    Enter your name and then automatically create "your computer's name ". 

    Enter a username and create a password.

    Click continue.

    Wait for Ubuntu to finish installing.

    This process may take some time depending on your computer's speed.

     You won't need to do anything during the installation process.

    Restart the virtual machine.

    Log into your Ubuntu virtual machine. Select your name, then enter your password and click sign in.
    Then you can see Ubuntu will load your desktop. Hurray! you can use Ubuntu with your windows 10 machine. It's like a separate computer.

    After your work is done. You have to close your virtual machine. So you can just click the close button and then you can see the below window.
    Put a tick on the power of the machine.
    Then simply it will close.
    After that, you can normally use your computer with your windows 10.
